Guests will have the opportunity to meet organizations affiliated with the Multi-Cultural Greek Council and enjoy light refreshments before the Step and Stroll showcase. At 7 p.m., chapters from the Multi-Cultural Greek Council (MGC) will perform their traditional steps, strolls and salutes! The Kapuna Walk will be held to allow graduating seniors an opportunity to mark their transition from student to alumni status. The torch light event is sponsored by the Student Government Association and the Corpus Christi Area Alumni Club. Registration is required for seniors. Alumni are invited to participate in the walk. This is the place to be Wednesday, Feb. 3, as the Islander women's basketball team faces off against UT-Arlington. Half of the proceeds from group ticket sales for the "Pink Zone" Game will benefit First Friday. Let's pack the American Bank Center and raise the roof. Islander Athletics and the Spirit Team will hold a Homecoming pep rally during halftime of the Student vs. Faculty/Staff Basketball Game from 8-9:30 p.m. in the Dugan Wellness Center. We're marching to the American Bank Center to watch our Islander men compete against Nicholls State University. Cheer on the parade as many decorated floats lead the way to the big game. Check-in is at 3 p.m. at American Bank Center parking lot 10. The parade route begins at American Bank Center, parking lot 10 on Chaparral Street and follows left on Mesquite, left on Power Street, and returns to parking lot 10 on Chaparral Street in downtown Corpus Christi. This exciting game against Nicholls State is the grand finale to Homecoming 2009. Let's pack the American Bank Center and raise the roof. We'll be there to rally our Islanders to victory.
