Ward Island has been home to many institutions - the University of Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi State University, Texas A&I University-Corpus Christi and currently, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Yet, regardless of who you are or when you attended, we are all Islanders.
Homecoming is the perfect time for students, alumni and the community to demonstrate their Islander spirit. Students will celebrate homecoming with week-long events. Alumni and supporters will have the chance to renew their spirit with events on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
We would love to have you join us! Be sure to check out our Schedule of Events to see what we have planned for this year. Please note that some events are invitation only and/or require that you purchase tickets in advance. All Homecoming events are produced by students, staff and alumni and are designed so that everyone will know why it is STILL great to be an Islander.
Islanders versus Lumberjacks - January 28 at 7 p.m.
Don't forget to show your spirit at the Homecoming basketball game on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 7 p.m., when the Islanders Men's Basketball team takes on the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks. Tickets to the game are available at www.goislanders.com or by calling 361.825.BALL!
